Oilfield Subsea Engineering

We provide subsea engineering assistance to oil companies and EPC contractors, with particular focus on brownfield projects and life-of-field maintenance activities.
Brownfield projects and life-of-field activities have in common to be generally executed on or near live production facilities. Any engineering mistake may consequently have an immediate impact on production during offshore execution. This is why life-of-field engineering requires not only solid subsea engineering skills but also some strong field operation experience. And this is probably where we make a difference: our team is composed of senior subsea engineers formerly part of major oil companies and EPC contractors. We know how subsea equipment are designed and how they are operated. Our dual engineering/field operation skills enable us to deliver high quality engineering studies and procedures, valued for their focus on safety and hands-on approach.

Here below a list of typical subsea engineering works we deliver on a regular basis:

  • Procedures for installation/retrieval, tie-in, commissioning or inspection of XT
  • Well Jumpers, HFL/EFL, Control Modules, Choke Valves...
  • Procedures for pre-commissioning of Umbilicals, Flowlines and Risers
  • Procedures for SPS equipment and ROV Tooling FAT and SIT
  • P&ID, PFD, hydraulic and electrical schematics
  • Hydraulic/Electrical Control System Studies (eg: for tie-in of in-fill wells)
  • Design of specific ROV tools and intervention equipment for in-field repair
  • Procedures for decommissioning of Umbilicals, Flowlines and Risers
