Novawell Awarded a New Contract for a Subsea Umbilicals Testing Campaign Offshore Angola

Luanda, Angola – December 2017

Novawell has been awarded a new contract for a subsea umbilicals testing campaign offshore Angola, including engineering, test equipment provision and offshore execution.

The scope of work includes the integrity testing of subsea power and signal cables using Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) deployed by Field Support Vessels and Novawell’s subsea testing equipment.
This small, technical contract perfectly falls into Novawell’s range of expertise as it calls for both advanced subsea engineering skills and extensive subsea production operation experience to avoid any production shutdown during testing of live facilities. This contract is an excellent news for Novawell which progressively grows as a reference contractor for small and medium-size subsea projects and life of field services in Europe and Africa.
